Will Clark is leaving Dairy UK following a brief stint as sustainability and environmental manager.
Dairy UK declined to comment on the reasons for Clark's departure.
Although only with Dairy UK since March, Clark is credited with playing a role in developments such as the drafts of the processing milk roadmap and the dairy manufacturing sector plan.
Speaking before he left, Clark said the outlook for the industry was positive despite major challenges, adding: "The most exciting environmental development in
2007 was progress towards the UK's first centralised anaerobic digestors for the dairy supply chain."
