InBev UK has appointed Devin Kelly as marketing director.

Kelly, who took up his new role at the beginning of the month, also joins the board of InBev UK, reporting to Richard Evans, who took up the role of president of InBev UK and Ireland last month.

He replaces Phil Rumbol who left the company at the end of last month to become marketing chief at Cadbury Trebor Bassett (The Grocer, January 21, p15).

Kelly has worked at the company since 1997, when he joined Labatt USA, part of Interbrew - as InBev was then known. During his six years there he held the roles of director of marketing for Canadian brands and director of innovation.

In 2003 Kelly moved to InBev's headquarters in Leuven, Belgium, as global director of new brands.

Most recently he was global director for Stella Artois.

He has also worked for a number of other companies, including Kraft Foods.
