Martin McColl has named Adam Margolin as its new marketing director.

Margolin joins the c-store and CTN chain at the end of the month from Spar, where he has worked for four years, most recently as head of marketing and management information.

He has also worked for United Biscuits and General Mills.

The move reunites Margolin with Peter Miller, who joined Martin McColl from Spar in July last year as buying director. “Adam has extensive experience in the c-store and foodservice sectors,” said CEO James Lancaster. “I am also delighted that he has linked up again with Peter, who has made a fantastic contribution to the group since joining last summer.”

Margolin’s appointment comes as Martin McColl continues the rollout of its new look c-stores, which are being given a brighter, more modern feel, with an improved layout and enhanced offer.
