UK brewer Scottish & Newcastle has appointed a UK MD and announced the final line-up of its new management team.
Jeremy Blood has moved from his role as MD of the company's pub operating arm to head the UK business, while acting UK MD Tim Seager will move to France.
He takes over from Yves Couette, who is leaving the business.
New chief executive John Dunsmore has confirmed the appointment of Alberto DaPonte, MD Portugal, and Yrjö Närhinen, MD Finland, to the brewer's management board.
The news comes in the same week that the Heineken and Carlsberg consortium bidding to take over the company said it would not rule out increasing its 750p-a-share bid.
S&N continues to fight the bid, and is also battling to take control of BBH, its Russian joint-venture with Carlsberg. S&N claims Carlsberg has breached an agreement, which Carlsberg denies.
