Food from Britain is set to lose its head of client development Jane Wakeling and development markets manager Emma Walters.

Both women are leaving the government-funded food marketing agency to take up new roles in the industry.

Wakeling, who has worked at FFB for four years, is leaving next month to take up the newly created role of local sourcing manager at Compass Group.

FFB declined to say which company or role Walters, who has worked at the agency for more than three years, would take. She will leave FFB in the new year.

FFB CEO John Adams said client development account manager Richard Sainter would take up Wakeling's work until longer-term arrangements were made.

Their departures bring the total number of senior staff to leave the agency within the last month to five. In October it revealed that three senior directors were to lose their jobs following funding cuts.
