Dennis Whiteley has retired following a 40-year ­career in the frozen food ­industry.

Whiteley joined Ross Foods in 1971 as a salesman and worked at WA Turner, Waldens Wiltshire Foods and Campbell’s before joining HFP Foods in 1991. He was most recently senior national account manager. During his career he controlled accounts for Bejam, Iceland, The Co-op Group, Corden Bleu, Nisa, Spar, Budgens, Waitrose, Low Cost and Frozen Value.

“I have had a great career in the retail industry and made great friendships with many retail buyers,” he said.
