A new non-dairy dessert brand is claiming to offer a healthier alternative to traditional ice cream.
The Perfect World ice cream-style brand will be available from 17 March in four flavours - Belgian Chocolate Brownie, banana Walnut Chip, Loads of Strawberry and Taste of Carrot Cake (rsp: £4.49/500ml and £1.79/120ml).
Pitched as a healthy alternative to ice cream, the products are based on a blend of nutritious nuts. They are wheat-free and use natural sweeteners including stevia instead of added sugar.
Last year, Gü founder James Averdieck moved into the dairy-free desserts sector by acquiring a controlling stake in coconut-based desserts brand Bessant & Drury’s.
