Mars Petcare dog food brand Pedigree is launching its biggest marketing push in a decade next month.

Under the strapline ‘Has your dog had his 4 a day?’, the campaign will aim to raise awareness of how Pedigree products can help dogs in four key health areas: teeth & bones, effective digestion, skin & coat, and immune system.

The £4.5m push includes a new TV ad breaking on 12 September, promotional activity and tailored PoS and sampling in participating supermarkets.

The campaign follows the revamp of the brand’s dry dog food in June, including a new pack design and a new ingredient that reduces tartar build-up.
