Waverley Group ­ Scottish & Newcastle's wine division ­ has appointed Martin Pinner as brand manager, focusing on the company's New World activities in countries such as Australia, California and South Africa. He will report to group brands controller Louise Perry. Pinner said: "Over the next 18 months I will be developing brands that work in the on- and off-trade ­ a role which has not been around before." Pinner has been in the wine trade for 30 years and has extensive experience in on- trade and off-trade sectors, having worked as brand manager for Western Wines for three years and brand manager for Bass and Percy Fox before that. The Waverley Group has also appointed Jeremy Dunn brand manager for its Italian portfolio. {{PEOPLE MOVES }}
