Three mixes are being launched, each specially developed for different eating occasions. A Breakfast Topping mix, consisting of a blend of sunflower seeds and dried exotic fruit pieces, such as mango, pineapple, guava and banana, has been created as a topping for cereals or yoghurt, while a Cranberry Lunch mix of cranberries, cashews, Brazil nuts, hazelnuts and almonds is intended to be eaten as a healthy midday snack. A Salad Topping mix of sunflower and pumpkin seeds with pine nut kernels completes the range.
The breakfast and lunch packs come in 150g foil bags and the salad topping in a 200g bag (rsp: £1.69 for all).
"We are confident it will be a success," said MD Jeff Bayley.
