The second of The Grocer's Christmas Price Watch columns on leading alcohol brands shows that the promotional activity on Baileys has already stepped up a gear. Last week it was evident Baileys was likely to be the focus of much of the festive discounting activity, with all six retailers running a deal on the cream liqueur. This week Morrisons broke from the pack to offer an even more competitive deal with a litre of Baileys priced at £10. Meanwhile, Bell's whisky remained at £12.99 at Somerfield and Waitrose having dropped from £16.99 last week.
