Princes is looking to breathe new life into the canned corned beef category with the launch of three flavoured variants.

The range - chilli, onion and mustard - goes into the mults on 23 September, (rsp: £1.99/200g can).

Princes said the products would remove the need to add condiments to corned beef, and would “reinvigorate” the £60m category.

Most shoppers ate corned beef in sandwiches or hash, Princes said, and the new flavours were “aligned to these usages”.
