Rachel’s Organic is adding a range of luxury desserts under its Divine banner to tap into the trend for permissible treats. The three-strong Divine Desserts range, which is rolling out now, comes in milk chocolate, orange and toffee flavours retailing at 99p each. The thick and creamy yoghurts come with separate portions of Belgian chocolate curls in the lids and contain less than 10% fat. They are being positioned as an indulgent product that will allow health-conscious consumers to “enjoy the nice without the naughty”.

“These new additions will provide an opportunity to grow the desserts market, because consumers are searching out great-tasting, indulgent and permissible treats,” said Steve Clarke, marketing director at Rachel’s Organic.

Divine Desserts join Divine Rice puddings on shelf and are made using fresh milk sourced from British organic farms.
