Heinz has appointed Louise Radcliffe as marketing director for its growing Infant Feeding business.

Radcliffe, who has just taken up her appointment, will report to Heinz chief marketing officer Suzanne Douglas. Before joining Heinz she worked at Numico. She has also worked with Masterfoods and Nestlé, managing catfood brand Felix Purina.

"The creation of this role reflects our focus on the marketing aspects of the position," said Douglas. "Louise brings a wealth of experience in food and babyfood."

Heinz said this week it was continuing to drive innovation in babyfood. In February, the company re-launched its Farleys Rusks and Cereals ranges - increasing their nutritional value with prebiotics and enhanced levels of vitamins and minerals.

"Heinz has fantastic growth aspirations and the brand is trusted by mums who want to feed their babies the highest quality food to give them the best start in life," said Radcliffe.
