Bacardi Brown-Forman is launching its biggest-ever Christmas marketing campaigns on both Southern Comfort and Finlandia.

A £3m spend on Southern Comfort kicks off next month and will include TV advertising and illustrated limited-edition bottles that accentuate Southern Comfort's New Orleans heritage. The Little Big Easy Cocktail Book, will also come with 70cl and 35cl bottles of the spiced bourbon.

Bacardi claimed it was also committing a record spend for Finlandia this season, with a new press campaign and limited-edition packs. A "value-added pack" of Finlandia Classic (70cl) with a 5cl bottle of Finlandia Vodka Grapefruit Fusion will be available in the multiples throughout November and December to encourage trial of the citrus flavour. At the same time, a bespoke gift carton of the 70cl Classic vodka will go into c-stores.
