Rectory Foods has made its retail debut with a range of frozen chicken products.

A seven-strong range of southern fried chicken products is being rolled out under Rectory's Hot Chicken Company brand this month, with listings confirmed in Netto. C-stores and independents are also being targeted.

The company hopes to win over the 'take away at home' market, particularly around coverage of the World Cup. "Our new Hot Chicken Company range is a great success in foodservice," said managing director Nick Bowyer.
