Red Tractor has kicked off a search for the nation's 'Sunday Lunch Hero' in a bid to promote British produce as a key ingredient in Sunday lunches and raise awareness of what Red Tractor stands for.

The campaign, launched this week, encourages consumers to nominate their favourite family cooks for the chance to win a meal cooked in their own home by TV chef Dean Edwards.The campaign will be supported by a dedicated website, www.redtractor.org.uk/sundaylunch, which will feature recipes created by Edwards. The 'Sunday Lunch Hero' search will be publicised through national radio advertising and in-store promotional activity.The simplest way to find responsibly sourced ingredients for Sunday lunch was simply to look for the Red Tractor, CEO David Clarke said.
