A leading fresh produce supplier has undergone a major restruturing programme.
Fruit to flowers supplier Redbridge said that it was restructuring into three distinct market-focused sectors, with each headed by its own managing director.
The new units will be Redbridge Flowers and Produce, headed by Graeme Hinchley, with responsibility for local wholesale to independents and foodservice.
Redbridge Worldfresh brings together the company’s importing and procurement activities in a rebrand.
Headed by Richard Parke-Davies, Worldfresh will include Redbridge AFI, the Summerfruit Company, Solfresco, Redeva and International Grape.
Redbridge Fresh Services is a new division, headed by Steve Harrison, which will focus on category management in both catering and retail.
Chief executive Denis Punter said: “These latest changes have been made to enhance our customer focus and set the foundations for Redbridge to make further progress.”
