hello, I was having lunch yesterday at a friend near Inverness, and the potatoes were absolutely delicious..!!! I asked where she got them and she said I bought them in a small greengrocer in Dingwall, ( about 12 miles North of Inverness...)!
The bag said 'Cornish new potatoes' grown by Rowe Farms, Helston, Cornwall, As I used to grow my own vegetables for 20 years, I had not heard/seen these really high quality tatties, and having worked for MAFF in south of England for a few years, and being brought up on a large arable farm, I wish my comments be passed on to Rowe farms, for such high quality potatoes..!
I would also like to know what actual variety they are also, if possible..? Thanks, Brian Malley, Inverness. 27/6/2014.
