I would have thought that the shops that are in excess of 3,000 sq ft are the businesses most likely to have an online presence - additionally, there are only 'X' number of Pound Notes in pockets to spend, so surely these stores are simply increasing overheads by keeping the doors open longer to get the same 'X' Pound Notes in the till.

Or perhaps its an opportunity for councils to increase local business rates by zoning.
