Sports & nutrition has broken the £100m value barrier in UK retail.

Take-home sales rose 19% to £110.5m over the 12 months to 18 June 2017 [Kantar Worldpanel].

Brands continue to dominate, with a 90% value share. Own label was “yet to offer a viable alternative to the specialist branded products, but retailers could be tempted as the category starts to develop” said Kantar’s George Guterres.
