Having been dropped by Manchester United at the weekend it now looks like Wayne Rooney has also been ditched by Asian beer brand Tiger.

Press reports at the weekend claims that a TV ad for Tiger, which pays the footie ace £300,000 a year, has been quietly dumped.

The ad named “The Game Never Ends” shows Rooney using his skills to win the last bottle of Tiger in a bar.

The move comes after Coca-Cola’s decision to abandon plans to put the striker’s face on cans and bottles of Coke Zero, following revelations about his private life.
