PepsiCo has teamed up with Royal Mail for Tropicana's first-ever door-step sampling campaign.

The multimillion-pound 'Tropicana: Your Daily Ray of Sunshine' television and press campaign is being launched next month with sampling planned for 250,000 households.

In a bid to boost sales, PepsiCo is delivering via Royal Mail two small bottles of Tropicana orange juice to households across the UK over the next three months.

The bottles will feature an optimistic message on neck collars corresponding with the day of the week, such as 'The week ends. The weekend begins' for Friday.

"It is a great time of year to instil a sense of optimism," said marketing manager Peter Charles.

An on-pack promotion offering Virgin Experience days prizes will run across the entire single-serve 330ml range from March to May.
