Half-price and other savings options promotions are available on Ernest & Julio Gallo's Sycamore Canyon and Turning Leaf wine sub-brands, while competitor Jacob's Creek records multi-buy savings.
Although Nestlé still tops the brand share table, with promotions spanning six categories, its margin has reduced significantly. Birds Eye is hot on the heels of this regular chart topper, offering frozen chicken, beef burger and vegetable variants. Masterfood's Dolmio brand leads the grocery category with a number of pasta sauces on offer, while Kraft's Dairylea brand records the most activity within the dairy category.
Among the own label categories, chilled goods dominate, although with the barbeque season coming up, meat, fish and poultry promotions are starting to appear.
