Heinz is so keen to promote its Heinz Tomato Ketchup Crisps joint venture with Walkers that it is using its own tomato ketchup bottles as a medium. The 570g and 700g bottles will carry one of eight slogans. These include: Today the crisp aisle..... tomorrow the world', It started with a crisp' and Heinz and Walkers Crisps; enjoy the best of both worlds'. Heinz said the messages emphasised the brand's quirky personality'. It added that reinforcing the link between the parent product and the new crisp format also highlighted the ketchup's suitability as a dip. The crisps were launched in June. An ad campaign featuring Olympic rower Sir Steve Redgrave, as well as Walkers' regular brand ambassador Gary Lineker, kicked off on July 16. {{MARKETING - P&P }}
