Heinz is giving its microwaveable frozen sponge puddings a facelift with new recipes and revamped packaging. The flavours stay the same ­ Strawberry, Chocolate and Syrup ­ but Heinz has aimed for more sauce and more moist sponge. New packaging has a bigger product picture and the now purple Heinz logo has moved from the left side of the packs to the middle with the description on the side as well as the front. The price has been reduced by 10p to £1.29. A Heinz spokeswoman claimed the puddings, which were launched in September 2000, had "turned the [frozen pudding] sector around from a minus 13% decline to growth of 5%." {{P&P }}
