Nando’s is running an on-pack and direct mail promotion on the theme of ‘Exotic Nights In’ to promote its range of cooking sauces.
The push is aimed at building awareness of the grocery brand to the same level as that enjoyed by the restaurant chain of the same name. Using the restaurant chain’s database of consumers, the mail campaign will include an information leaflet and vouchers.
A neck collar promotion with the same theme will be placed on Nando’s Peri-Peri table sauces from next month, featuring a money-off coupon to encourage trial. Marketing director Phil Lynas said the aim was to push the brand in an innovative and fun way.
