SCHOOL FRUIT: UK can't be favoured

Apples, pears, easy peelers and bananas have been selected as the most suitable products for distribution under the government's free fruit for primary schools campaign. But there is no guarentee the scheme will benefit English top fruit growers who still have late varieties available.
