The book contains 16 fish dish recipes and retails for £1. Fifty pence from the sale of each book will go to the Marie Curie Cancer Care charity, with Seachill aiming to raise £15,000.
The book will be displayed in the pre-packed fish fixture rather than the books section, and Seachill said it hoped it would resonate with shoppers looking for inspiration for how to cook their fish. "The look and feel is very 'The Saucy Fish Co', very foodie, and is designed to continue the task of making the look and feel of the fixture more appealing," said sales and marketing director Simon Smith.
Seachill had chosen to donate half the proceeds to Marie Curie because Tesco had a long-standing relationship with the charity, added Smith.
