Manor Bakeries, manufacturer of cakes under the Mr Kipling, Cadbury and Lyons brands, has appointed senior managers for three new trade arms grocery, convenience and out-of-home.
Senior category manager Zoe Taphouse becomes channel development manager for grocery.
Carol Dabson is channel development manager for out-of-home business. She has worked for Manor Bakeries for a year and previously was category and project manager for convenience retailing at Esso.
Hazel Cawthorne becomes channel development manager for convenience. She was previously senior trade marketing manager.
Manor Bakeries has also shaken up its commercial team. Eric Craig has been promoted to business unit controller for Sainsbury, with additional responsibility for Iceland, Waitrose and Marks and Spencer. He was previously business account manager for Sainsbury.
Keith Waring remains business unit controller for Asda, and will also oversee the Morrisons and Safeway accounts.
Sales director Mike Anderson said: "The commercial team is well placed to develop Manor Bakeries' new structure and respond to retailer and shopper requirements faster and better."
The changes follow the appointments of Andrew Gidden as director of customer strategy and Brian Tyrer as director of the convenience channel (The Grocer, June 14, p20).
