Meridian Wines is cutting through over-complicated wine terminology and keeping it simple for its latest Italian launch. Two wines under the Palazzi name are being introduced with packaging designed to be easily understood by consumers. Managing director Tony Brown said: "Italy's labelling can often be confusing and therefore off-putting for the consumer. Palazzi is a modern approach to two renowned varietals and offers quality and value." Puglia in the south is the source of the red wine Negro Amaro and the white is a Chardonnay from Venezie in the north-east (rsp: £3.99). {{DRINKS }}
