Scotland's biggest bacon brand Tulip is to run its first TV ad campaign for 13 years. Breaking on May 10, the 30 second ads will run for a month just on Scottish channels. Between June 12 and September 26, a 10 second version will air to back up a promotion running with multiple retailers. The ad shows a woman making a BLT sandwich with Tulip bacon for her boyfriend. The ingredients of the sandwich transform into heart shapes and just as she presents the sandwich to him she takes a bite out of it first. It carries the strapline Tulip, the irresissstible bacon'. Tulip marketing manager Madeleine Cassidy said the ad has "a contemporary look which we hope will broaden the appeal of Tulip bacon among younger consumers". {{P&P }}
