Reh Kendermanns is adding weight to its joint venture with WeightWatchers by extending its range of reduced calorie wines.
The German producer is launching a red and a rosé to complement the Riesling, introduced last year at £4.49.
The wines form the first tranche of new initiatives planned for the UK this year.
Other developments include a new Terroir Series with a £6.99 price tag which is designed to form a new premium tier to the existing Kendermanns range.
A new style of Black Tower has also won listings in Sainsbury. A Kendermanns branded Eiswein and a rosé are also planned.
Booths' wine and spirits buyer Sally Holloway said: "It's encouraging to see large companies which have dominated the bottom end of the market trying to move people up."
