Lurpak butter company Arla Foods has recruited former Kimberly-Clark marketer Vanessa Smith to head up its BSM business unit. The post gives her responsibility for the Lurpak brand as well as the company's own-label portfolio of butters, spreads and margarines. She said: "Ability to connect with consumers through innovation will be the key to Lurpak's continued growth and ultimate goal of overall BSM category leadership."
