Scottish fine food supplier Hebridean Smokehouse has launched a range of über-premium butters for foodies, containing smoked seafood.

The three-strong range comprises peat-smoked salmon butter with lemon and dill, peat-smoked scallop butter with parsley, sage and lemon and peat-smoked lobster butter with basil & lime.

The butters, which are marketed as toppings for pasta, risotto and fish as well as for canapés, are a first for UK retail and were dreamt up by general manager Christopher West.
