Marks & Spencer is to open its first standalone sandwich and snack shop next month.
The 700 sq ft M&S To Go site will be next to the M&S department store on Kensington High Street in London. It will sell sandwiches, snacks, soups and drinks to commuters.
M&S insisted the move was not part of a wider strategy and there were no plans to open further standalone sandwich shops. M&S already has food to go areas inside 27 stores.
