Bestfoods is to drive festive sales of its £45m Hellmann's mayonnaise brand with a heavyweight promotional campaign. A burst of 10 second TV adverts over the peak Christmas period will focus on innovative serving suggestions for Hellmann's with cold food. This is to build on advertising earlier this year in women's press titles. A 50% extra free offer on 400g Real and 400g Light Reduced Calorie mayonnaise jars is being reintroduced. This activity is part of the £9m marketing campaign behind the brand. Jackie Rooke, strategic business manager at Bestfoods UK, said: "In recent years the use of value added promotions and TV advertising has boosted sales of Hellmann's mayonnaise by 60% over a four week period." {{P&P }}
