It will be available from October for six weeks, with an rsp of £1.95 for a 600ml pack.
Marketing director Nigel Parrott said: “Halloween is traditionally a time when hot food is used to keep the cold at bay. We’re giving consumers the chance to enjoy a classic recipe that features pumpkin, a product that is synonymous with Halloween, as its main ingredient.”
The company said demand for its soups had hit an all-time high, growing at 15% in value which is twice the rate of the £85m fresh soup category.(IRI 52 w/e Aug 06 2005).
