Sir; At what point are the supermarkets going to take our health seriously?
I purchased a carton of apparently fresh and healthy soup from Safeway last week assuming it would be a better lunch than a grab-and-go snack. How wrong was I?
In just 100ml of Leek & Potato soup there was 2.4g of salt! If your appetite is small enough only to need this amount of soup then great.
But a second bowl will take you to very close to your full recommended daily intake of salt at 4.8g. The soup itself tasted very salty so any argument regarding the removal of salt altering taste in this case would be very welcome change!
