The UK’s appetite for soup shows no signs of being sated and, over the past year, consumers have been happy to be spoon-fed new flavours and ideas.

Innovation has led to this favourite comfort food being available for consumption anytime, anywhere, and consumers have sampled whatever wacky flavour combinations the brands want to throw at them.

However, it seems there is still no knocking Heinz Cream of Tomato Soup off its perch or, for that matter, enticing soup fans to all-year consumption.
