The Porkinson Banger invented by society photographer Norman Parkinson has had a facelift in the form of new recipe and pack design.
The two varieties Original and Chipolatas now contain free range pork while packs are branded Quintessentially Porkinson'. The packs take up nearly a third less space in the chiller to help retailers maximise space.
Product manager Andrea Tomlin said new products were planned in "the near future".
