Organic meat supplier Eastbrook Farm is set to visit Sainsbury’s top 100 store car parks next winter as it diversifies into catering.
The company’s new Flying Pig van will sell organic fast food such as bacon butties and beefburgers at two Sainsbury car parks a day over a three-month period later this year.
Eastbrook Farm founder Helen Browning said the Flying Pig would cover events such as the Royal Show in the summer, before spending the winter season in supermarket car parks across the UK.
She said the range on sale would be of a high quality with
salad included, as Eastbrook Farms tapped into the ongoing health debate.
Eastbrook Farm supplies Sainsbury, Morrisons and some Co-operative Group stores with organic meat such as pork, bacon and sausages.
