It is making inroads into the barbecue sector with four marinades - hot chilli, mango & coriander, tikka and smokey barbeque - and two classic dressings - French and balsamic Italian. Press advertising and in-store activity from May will support the launch, with a further push planned in the run-up to Christmas.
EPC is also extending its chutney and condiments range with sweet pickle and farmhouse apple chutneys, set to be launched in late summer.
The company's Heaven in a Jar dessert sauces are being brought under its Very Lazy brand in the summer in a bid to communicate the products' labour-saving positioning.
Marketing manager Sally Haydock said the range would widen the brand's appeal.
