Sharwood's entry, with four products, into chilled sauces is a much needed challenge to own label's dominance in the category. Brands have but a minor presence in chilled sauces, and the majority of these are Italian, so it's good to see a company finally putting chilled ethnic sauces on the map. The range comes in Thai green curry, Kashmiri korma, mughlai tikka and Hong Kong sweet and sour, and combine fresh vegetables and fruit. Building on the strong Sharwood's name, it looks set to be a winner.
