Stock Spirits Group is to make its UK off-trade debut with Italy's best-selling limoncello and a premium brandy.

The lemon liqueur Limoncé (rsp: £9.98) will hit Tesco stores from 9 August. Made from Italian lemons, it will launch alongside the 10-year old brandy Stock XO (rsp: £19.99 for 700ml).

"Growing our brands in central Europe remains the key focus for Stock Spirits but we believe some of the brands in our portfolio are suitable for UK consumers," said chief executive Chris Heath. "We are delighted Tesco recognise this and look forward to working with them."

Since forming in 2007, Stock Spirits has operated throughout central Europe and the US, backed by Los Angeles-based investment group Oaktree Capital.

The group makes Poland's top vodka, Czysta de Luxe, which claimed to be the world's fastest growing vodka last year.
