British Chicken Marketing’s first ever ‘Roast a British Chicken Weekend’ begins today (Saturday).
Designed to encourage Britons to enjoy a roast chicken dinner, the weekend is being supported by a high profile campaign of national retailer, media and online activity.
Nine major retailers are supporting the event with stores carrying point of sale material, coupons and recipe cards in the run-up to the event.
To help generate national news coverage, British Chicken Marketing has commissioned a futurologist, James Bellini, to draw up a report into how family mealtimes are likely to change between now and 2020.
