Sunkist Growers is looking to expand its licensing programme in the UK with products that will tap into the growing demand for healthy eating.
The first products to be developed will include ready-to-eat fruit snacks,
biscuits and dairy products.
Sunkist is America’s largest citrus marketing company and is owned by more than 6,000 growers in California and Arizona. There are more than 600 Sunkist branded products, including orange drinks, nuts, snack bars and vitamins, in 50 countries although it is best known in the UK as a soft drinks brand, marketed by Nichols.
Kirk Bloomgarden, chief executive at brand licensing company Copyright Promotions said: “With such emphasis on healthy eating across Europe at the moment, the time is absolutely right for Sunkist to develop and expand its licensing programme here.”
