Welsh indie chain CK’s Supermarkets is on the hunt for more stores after posting a 7% increase in full-year sales.

Sales rose to £31.5m in the year to 30 April 2011, on profits of £736,402, according to accounts made available at Companies House.

“The company continues to seek expansion by way of acquisition and building of new supermarkets,” MD Christopher Kiley wrote in the accounts.

CK’s is currently converting its stores to Nisa.
