Birds Eye is bringing back its 1980s Supermousse brand as it continues to embrace the retro trend.

The move follows the revival of its Arctic Roll brand earlier this year and will be supported by a nationwide campaign featuring iconic 80s TV character Roland Rat, as well as a raft of in-store activity. The Supermousse relaunch follows growth of 47.8% by value in the mousse category over the past year [TNS 52w/e 19 April 2009].

The range is available in Strawberry and Chocolate Caramel flavours (rsp: £1.49) and is being touted as free from both artificial colours and flavourings.
