Three new categories have been created for the Food and Drink Federation’s annual Community Partnership Awards.

Alongside, the established categories of Apprentice of the Year, Education, Environment, Good Employer, Health and Wellbeing and Local Community, the new categories are Export Success of the Year, Growing Business of the Year and Developing Skills for the Future – a category dedicated to innovative recruitment and retention activities.

The FDF is now inviting entries for the awards, which will be judged by a panel of industry experts including MP John Stevenson, chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Food and Drink Manufacturing.

The closing date for entries is 4 May and winners will be announced at a celebratory lunch at Shakespeare’s Globe in London on Wednesday 24 October.
